19 Feb 2025 Festival of Summer Music by Jack’s Lake
We are very pleased to announce that we plan to hold a Festival of Summer Music in 2025. A series of FOUR concerts are being organised by local renowned opera singer Ilona Domnich, and hosted by Monken Hadley Common Trust on the shores of Jack’s Lake. The concerts will be held on 15th June (7pm), 6th July (7pm), 20th July (6.30pm) and 3rd August (6.30pm). More details can be seen here.
Entry to the concerts is free, but we will collect cash/card donations, and suggest a minimum of £15 per adult, to support preservation of the Common and a bursary for a young singer – proceeds of the concerts are shared equally between the Trust (to fund our work to maintain the Common), and World Heart Beat Music Academy (registered charity no 1139579) to establish a music bursary for young musicians (the Marcia Elton Vocal Bursary Programme).
